The day-to-day and hour-to-hour condition of air in the atmosphere is called weather.
The average weather of a place is called climate.
The climate of any place is affected by the following factors:
Any year in India is classified into four seasons
In the summer season, the rays of the sun fall directly into this area making it hot. Loo is the hot wind that blows during the summer season.
The rainy season is also called the Monsoon season. The wind rising from the Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal carry moisture with them that rains in the whole country.
The monsoon season is very important for the people of India because rain is the main source of water for their crops.
The Autumn season is also called the retreating monsoon season because the monsoon winds retreat back to their origin i.e. Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea.
In the winter season, the rays of the sun do not fall directly in this area making it cold. The temperature is quite low and people wear woolen clothes.
Natural vegetation grows on its own without any human interference. It includes a variety of floras such as grassland, trees, shrubs, herbs, climbers, and creepers.
Forests are very important because humans are directly or indirectly depend on them. Forest gives us oxygen, medicines, food, wax, gum etc, which are very essential in our life. Thus, it’s our responsibility to protect them from destroying.
As forests are important for us in the same manner wildlife or animals are also very important to make the balance in the nature.
Thousands of species live in forests such as reptiles, amphibians, mammals, birds, insects, and worms.
