Ans: Our occupation or job also affects our likes and dislikes. For example, mechanics do not mind handling oil and grease while others mind it.

2. How do our sense organs work?

Ans: When our sense organs feel something the sensory nerves send a message to the Brain. The brain reads the message and send the message through the motor nerves to affected body parts to act accordingly.

3. Who are physically or mentally challenged people? Why are they called special people?

Ans: Physically and mentally challenged people are special people whose one or the other body part or sense organ does not function properly. We call them special people because they need our special love, care and attention.

4. How can we help special people?

Ans: We can help special people by our special love, care and attention.

5. What steps are taken by the government to help special people?

Ans: The steps taken by the government to help special people are as follows:

  1. Ramps have been built at railway station, bus stop and Metro Station.
  2. Low floor buses have been introduced by DTC.
  3. Special schools have been open to provide vocational training to the people.
  4. Special Jobs have been created in many offices for challenged people.
