Moving from one place to another is called travelling. In past, people used to move from one place to another in search of food and water, to hunt animals, to sell items, to fight the war, and to preach religious thoughts.

In today’s world, people travel in search of a job, for education, to spend a holiday, and to meet their relatives and friends.

Manuscripts

Manuscripts were made from the leaves of trees that were used as a page to write something on them.

Inscriptions

Inscriptions were just like manuscripts that were used to keep records of something. But, inscriptions were made of stones or metals.

Archaeology

Archaeology is the study of the past, which is done by analyzing the materials excavated from the sites. The excavated materials may include tools, weapons, grains, bones, etc.

Archaeologist

The person who analyzes the things found during excavation is called an Archaeologist.

Historian

Historian is a person who writes about the past.

Source

The items such as bones, tools, weapons, and building architecture that are analyzed by the Archaeologist is called source. It also includes ornaments, coins, and pots.

 Decipherment

It is the process of analyzing and conversion of the ancient text to modern languages.
