When other students were studying, Valmiki was given the task to sweep the ground.
In case of Ansaris, they were looking for apartment to rent but no landlord was ready to rent them the apartment just because of their religion.
So, in both cases people have discriminated with Omprakash Valmiki and Ansaris.

Ans: “All persons are equal before law” simply means that every person whether it’s president or a common citizen, everyone has to follow the laws. None of the countrymen are above law.
Nobody in the country can be discriminated based on their caste, gender, religion or economic background.
In democracy, equality before law is very important to ensure that people get respect and their dignity is preserved.
